The APRN position requires a clear and active license in the State of Florida. Minimum 2 years of experience with psychiatric clients and medication management is preferred. 2 years of experience in active and continuum mental health care required. APRN, in conjunction with the Psychiatrist and under their protocol, has clinical responsibility for the client’s treatment and staff’s delivery of clinical services. The APRN is responsible for and provides direct psychiatric and medical assessment and treatment through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and discharge planning for individuals; provide consultation, as needed to other mental health professionals. Services are provided in accordance with accepted standards of professional practice and policies and procedures. These staff members of the treatment team develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, staff, managed care companies, families of individuals, and other professionals or community members who have an impact on those who we serve. This is a 100% direct service position.

Psychosocial Rehabilitation Counselors Provide rehabilitation services which includes group therapy, social rehabilitation, basic living skills, individual supportive counseling, and therapeutic care services within the role recovery framework. Maintain records in compliance with all required standards. Work as part of a clinical team. Transport people served as necessary and maintain Henderson vehicle/property. Counselors must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a related field. One-year experience in mental health setting preferred. Knowledge of treatment of mental health disorders, abuse regulations, patient rights, and crisis intervention.

At least five years working with adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses and/or cooccurring disorders in a rehabilitation setting. Some supervisory experience preferred. Experience and/or ability to work with electronic medical records is required. The position provides overall team leadership, direction, and accountability for quality clinical services. Monitors, timely and accurate documentation of services and ensures services are provided through a multidisciplinary team person-centered approach. The psychiatrist has overall clinical responsibility for the client’s treatment and staff’s delivery of clinical services. The psychiatrist is responsible and provides direct psychiatric and medical assessment and treatment through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning and discharge planning for consumers; provide consultation, as needed to other mental health professionals by clinical supervision; education and training; and development, maintenance and supervision of medication and psychiatric and medical treatment policies and procedures. Additionally, the psychiatrist provides oversight to staff APRN as dictated in protocol. Services are provided in accordance with accepted standards of professional practice and policies and procedures of HBH while assuring that the unit operates within the guidelines established by the Agency for Health Care Administration, CARF, Department of Children and Families and in a manner that is consistent with HBH mission, vision, and values. Additionally, assures that facility is in compliance with all federal, state and local laws. This is a 100% direct service position that requires availability to work irregular hours, including evenings, overnights, and weekends; as well as on-call duties. M.D. or D.O., Board Certified or Board Eligible in psychiatry and licensed to practice medicine in the State of Florida. Valid DEA license. Maintain Florida state license in good standing. Four (4) years or more of ACGME approved psychiatry residency program successfully completed.
