Case Manager

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field. Other related degrees considered if supplemented by relevant work experience substituted on a year for year basis. Candidate should have a minimum of one (1) year experience with adults with mental health disorders. The candidate should have familiarity with adult mental health population; and understanding of the process of mental illness; and psychiatric disorders comprehension of 65E-15 Florida Administration Code; District 10 policies and procedures relating to Continuity of Care Case Management. A working knowledge of available community resources. Excellent interpersonal relationship, advocacy and negotiating skills. Good written and verbal community skills and the ability to communicate and work with person served with the target population. Sensitivity to the cultural needs and characteristics of the local community. A valid Florida driver’s license and auto insurance coverage of $50,000/$100,000/$50,000 are required.
