Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, advocacy, and interpersonal skills, knowledge of community resources and person-centered service planning, and familiarity with Medicaid-funded behavioral health services. A valid Florida driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance are required.
Case Manager – Florida Assertive Community Team (FACT)
This member of the multidisciplinary team has responsibility to carry out rehabilitation and support functions and assist in treatment; substance abuse services; education, support, and consultation to families; and crisis intervention under the clinical supervision of staff with professional degrees. Candidate will provide practical help and support, advocacy, and coordination, side-by-side individualized support, problem solving, direct assistance, training, and supervision to help obtain the necessities of daily living including medical and dental health care; legal and advocacy services; financial support such as entitlements or housing subsidies; supported housing; money management services; and transportation. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in behavioral science degree. Work experience with adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses or with individuals with similar human-service needs. Familiarity with the various resources within the local community. Awareness of the concept of individual service planning. A valid Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance are required.
Program Supervisor (New)
Function as the leader and a core member of a collaborative Early Treatment Program whose interventions and treatment are focused on helping individuals navigate the road to recovery from an episode of psychosis, including supporting efforts to function well at home, on the job, at school, and in the social world. This individual provides guidance, instruction, direction and leadership to the various group members for the purpose of achieving the delivery of Coordinated Specialty Care services. Assisting in designing and developing program services which include planning, budgeting, organizing, and directing all services related to the program. Work collaboratively with other professionals throughout the community and aid in data collection and reporting. Assist in establishing performance standards and monitor compliance. Communicate and provide consultation/training to other levels of management, units, and community agencies and partners. Services are provided in accordance with accepted standards of professional practice and policies and procedures of HBH while assuring that the program operates within the guidelines established by the Navigate Model, the Department of Children and Families/BBHC in a manner that is consistent with HBH mission, vision and values. This is a position that requires a portion of time in direct service. Minimum Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Education, Psychology, Social Work or related field. License preferred. Additional related education and/or experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology normally acquired over one or more years of work experience in related service. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required. Possess a valid Florida driver’s license. Exhibit proof of auto insurance coverage in the amount of $10,000/$20,000/$10,000 for liability. Accepting professional with 1–2 years of experience in Early Treatment and Navigate, providing client support, care coordination, and resource linkage. Expected to obtain licensure (LMHC, LCSW or LMFT) by September 1, 2026.
Family Education Clinician
This position serves as a family clinician teaching families about psychosis and its treatment. Reducing relapses by encouraging medication adherence and monitoring early warning signs of relapse. Supporting the participant’s work towards personal recovery goals. Reducing family stress through improved communication and problem-solving skills. The family clinician helps to reduce family burden and helps the family build on their strengths to create and maintain an environment to support the participant’s recovery. To meet these objectives, the family clinician must help the families cultivate the necessary knowledge base, attitudes, and skills to cope with. effectively with the situation and support the participant’s progress; this is the work of the family services component of the NAVIGATE program. Experience with computer technology (using a computer & PC software to support activities; Windows based programs, e-mail, especially Microsoft Office applications, keyboarding skills, printer, calculator, fax machine, MFP, copier) and other office tools efficiently in order to meet performance goals necessary to the position. Minimum Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Education, Psychology, Social Work or related field. Preference of two (2) years of post-graduate practice, heavily concentrated in mental health field, work experience working with both young adults and adults with mental illnesses or with similar human-services needs desired. Additionally, experience in mental health and/or substance abuse arena preferred.
CWCM Safety Specialist Team Lead – Non Judicial In-Home Services (NJIHS)
This position requires a bachelor’s in human services or related field; 1+ year experience preferred. This position requires child welfare certification. Responsible for daily leadership and coordinating the provision of services and/or supports to Orange, Seminole and Osceola County families identified by DCF and/or FPOCF. Ensure and provide safety management services and placement stabilization services are provided to address caregiver protective capacities while ensuring the child’s safety, permanency, and well-being in relation to the identified needs of the family. Document activities and other services in FSFN. This role delivers crisis response and field-based safety services to families at risk. Coordinates referrals for housing, healthcare, and basic needs, and maintains FSFN documentation and regular updates to referral sources. Must possess a valid FL driver’s license and insurance.
Housing Peer Mentor – Housing and Health Options Promote Empowerment (HHOPE) Program
The position requires a minimum of a high school degree or equivalent. Some college preferred. Experience in recovery from mental illness or substance abuse. Previous experience of homelessness is preferred. Position provides peer support services to clients served by Henderson’s Residential Treatment Facilities. All work will be informed by the core principles of the evidence- based practice Housing First, which is a recovery-oriented approach that centers on quickly moving people into independent and permanent housing and then providing additional supports and services as needed. A valid Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance are required. Candidates must have experience in recovery themselves from mental illness or substance abuse.
Care Coordinator – Primary Care (Health Clinic)
This position serves as a guide who is responsible for coordinating care for clients with chronic and high risk medical and/or behavioral health conditions. This position bridges the gaps in an individual’s care. Interventions are focused on helping individuals engage in care and navigate the road to recovery. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences, Human Services or related field. Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, counseling education, mental health counseling, or related field; preferred. Valid Florida driver’s license and proof of insurance indicating minimum of $10,000/$20,000/$10,000 coverage.

This position requires that the candidate possess a Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. The candidate must possess strong customer service skills, a high level of interpersonal relation skills (verbal and written), and strong computer literacy in all Microsoft Office Software. Candidate should be a team player and be able to display flexibility in adapting to changing conditions. Human Services field experience preferred: including any experience in medical mental health office practice, and/or experience working with persons experiencing disabilities, homelessness, or a serious mental health diagnosis.
