Henderson Behavioral Health is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Chalet SRO Supervisor. This role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Chalet Apartments SRO project, including applicant screening, intake, and tenant orientation. The Supervisor ensures compliance with Electronic Health Record standards and operates within guidelines set by Henderson Behavioral Health, HUD, the Hollywood Housing Authority, and Broward County Initiative Partnership. This position requires 24/7 on-call availability for emergencies and reports directly to the Director of Housing Services. A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or a related field is required; a Master’s degree and knowledge of HUD and HMIS is preferred. Valid Florida driver’s license auto liability insurance are required.
APRN – PT & FT (New)
The APRN position requires a clear and active license in the State of Florida. Minimum 2 years of experience with psychiatric clients and medication management is preferred. APRN, in conjunction with the Psychiatrist and under their protocol, has clinical responsibility for the client’s treatment and staff’s delivery of clinical services. The APRN is responsible for and provides direct psychiatric and medical assessment and treatment through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and discharge planning for individuals; provide consultation, as needed to other mental health professionals. Services are provided in accordance with accepted standards of professional practice and policies and procedures. These staff members of the treatment team develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, staff, managed care companies, families of individuals, and other professionals or community members who have an impact on those who we serve. This is a 100% direct service position that requires on call duties as well.
Case Manager
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in the Human Services field. The candidate must have a minimum of one year experience working with adults in the mental health field as well as knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment, and community resources. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary. A valid Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance are required.
Care Coordinator – Safety Management Action Response Team (SMART)
This position requires a bachelor’s in human services or related field; 1 year of relevant Social Services experience with children and families preferred. Specific agency training will be completed within the first six months of employment. Wraparound certified with experience working with families at risk preferred. Ideal candidate must possess excellent engagement, computer, time management skills and be able to work closely within a small team. Provide safety management services and care coordination for families with active involvement with DCF to ensure that appropriate interventions and services are provided to address caregiver protective capacities while ensuring the child’s safety, permanency, and well-being in relation to the identified needs of the family. Document activities and other services in FSFN. Ideal candidate will be centrally located in Orange County, as this position requires frequent driving and responsiveness in time-sensitive situations. Possess a valid Florida Driver’s License. Provide proof of appropriate automobile insurance coverage in the amount of at least $10,000/20,000/10,000 for liability limits.
Therapist
Minimum of master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling education, mental health counseling, or related field. Licensed in the state of FL. LCSW, LMHC, LMFT preferred. This position requires a minimum of one year experience working with chronically mentally ill youth population as well as solid knowledge of recovery processes. The candidate should also have the ability to conduct individual and conjoint therapy. A successful candidate should possess good communication and writing skills and be able to work within a multidisciplinary team approach. Successful candidates will need to be resourceful and adaptable as a therapist, have knowledge of evidence-based intervention strategies. This position begins with a modified caseload and combines direct clinical services—including assessment, treatment planning, individual/family/group therapy, and outcome tracking—with leadership responsibilities such as chart review, waitlist management, and staff support. The Team Lead works closely with the Program Supervisor/Director to ensure quality services, foster collaboration across a multidisciplinary team, and assist in program development, with the goal of transitioning into a full-time supervisory role. Candidates must hold a Florida license (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT) and have at least one year of experience working with children/adolescents with complex mental health needs.

Peer Support Specialist – Family Intensive Treatment Team (FITT)
FITT Peer Support Specialist provides peer coaching & support service to help parents who are at risk of having or have had their child(ren) removed due to substance misuse. They work together as a team with a therapist & case manager to promote the parent/caregiver’s recovery and assist them in working toward their dependency case plan goals for reunification or to maintain their child(ren) in the home. FITT Peers use their lived experience & skills learned to help others achieve & maintain recovery and wellness from substance use while also improving their parenting skills and caregiver protective capacities. HS diploma or GED required and MUST have personal lived experience either: an adult in recovery for a minimum of 2 years from a mental health and/or substance use condition or a family member or caregiver to another person who is living with a mental health and/or substance use condition. A valid Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance are required.
