The applicant will provide nursing services including but not limited to taking the medical history of patients and assisting the physician during the examination. In addition, the candidate will explain the medical procedures to the patient, call pharmacies for prescription, collect samples for lab testing, vital signs monitoring, preventive healthcare, disease specific goals, action plan, healthcare proxy, and health education and injections. Candidate should have a minimum of (1) one year experience heavily concentrated in the mental health field within the past (5) five-years, preferably. Work requires familiarity with procedures and policies relating to all aspects of nursing care. Additionally, experience in the mental health and substance abuse arena is preferred. Previous experience in discharge planning, utilization review, case management, or similar role desirable. Certified to give injections.

Minimum of master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling education, mental health counseling, or related field. Minimum of one year experience working with chronically mentally ill adult population as well as solid knowledge of recovery processes. This is a professional position serving as a clinical member of the participant’s care team. Outpatient Therapy provides intensive clinical therapeutic services to adult individuals with identified mental health or substance abuse diagnosis. This service is designed to meet the specific behavioral health needs of the identified participant as they relate to their diagnosis and can be provided in-office or other approved/appropriate community setting. The therapist may provide other outpatient services, such as psychoeducation, supervision, and case management, which have different procedural standards than outpatient psychotherapy, but for which competent clinical skills and high standards will be used. The Therapist procures the authorizations for treatment and maintains them. Work is performed in a professional mid-paced environment. Services are provided in accordance with accepted standards of professional practice. This is a 100% direct service position that could require the employee to work regular full-time hours.

This position requires that the candidate be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Florida with clear/active Florida state license in good standing. One year experience heavily concentrated in the mental health field. Work experience with adults with mental illnesses. Candidate should have excellent and written communication. Candidate should also be able to write with remarkable clarity and consistency and display flexibility in adapting to changing conditions. This position required a minimum of a Master’s degree in Behavioral Sciences, Human Services or related field. Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling education, mental health counseling, or related field; preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Minimum of High School degree or equivalent. Some college preferred. Paraprofessionals may have a bachelor’s degree in a field other than behavioral sciences or a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Certified Peer Specialist desired; or applicant must obtain certification at the end of 12 months of employment. Must have experience in recovery from either mental illness or substance abuse by being a past recipient of public or private behavioral care services. Experience with individuals with mental illness or similar human-service’s needs, or other applicable experience desired. Previous experience in advocacy or similar roles are desirable. Experience with computer technology (using computer & PC software to support activities; Windows based programs, e-mail, especially Microsoft Office applications, keyboarding skills, printer, calculator, fax machine, MFP, copier) and other office tools efficiently in order to meet performance goals is necessary to the position. Psychosocial Rehabilitation Counselors provide rehabilitation services which includes group therapy, social rehabilitation, basic living skills, individual supportive counseling, substance abuse recovery & maintenance, and therapeutic care services within the role recovery framework. Maintain records in compliance with all required standards. Work as part of a clinical team. Transport people served as necessary and maintain Henderson vehicle/property. Counselors must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a related field. One-year experience in mental health setting preferred. Knowledge of treatment of substance abuse disorders, mental health disorders, abuse regulations, patient rights, and crisis intervention.

This position requires a master’s degree and licensed in the state of Florida as an LMHC, LCSW or LMFT. At least five years working with adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses and/or cooccurring disorders in a rehabilitation setting. Some supervisory experience preferred. Experience and/or ability to work with electronic medical records is required. The position provides overall team leadership, direction, and accountability for quality clinical services. Monitors, timely and accurate documentation of services and ensures services are provided through a multidisciplinary team person-centered approach. Responsibilities include clinical supervision, administrative oversight, fiscal responsibility, staff training and direct services. A valid Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance are required. This is a direct and indirect position that requires availability to work Monday thru Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The psychiatrist has overall clinical responsibility for the client’s treatment and staff’s delivery of clinical services. The psychiatrist is responsible and provides direct psychiatric and medical assessment and treatment through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning and discharge planning for consumers; provide consultation, as needed to other mental health professionals by clinical supervision; education and training; and development, maintenance and supervision of medication and psychiatric and medical treatment policies and procedures. Additionally, the psychiatrist provides oversight to staff APRN as dictated in protocol. Services are provided in accordance with accepted standards of professional practice and policies and procedures of HBH while assuring that the unit operates within the guidelines established by the Agency for Health Care Administration, CARF, Department of Children and Families and in a manner that is consistent with HBH mission, vision, and values. Additionally, assures that facility is in compliance with all federal, state and local laws. This is a 100% direct service position that requires availability to work irregular hours, including evenings, overnights, and weekends; as well as on-call duties. M.D. or D.O., Board Certified or Board Eligible in psychiatry and licensed to practice medicine in the State of Florida. Valid DEA license. Maintain Florida state license in good standing. Four (4) years or more of ACGME approved psychiatry residency program successfully completed.

This position requires the candidate to possess a Minimum of a master’s degree in a human service-related field and to be licensed in the state of Florida (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT). Minimum two (2) years related work experience with adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses and/or co-occurring disorders in an outpatient setting. Some supervisory experience preferred. Experience and/or ability to work with electronic medical records is required. Have working knowledge of the American Psychological Association’s current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, mental illness, its etiology, and its treatment; of human behavior and of supportive counseling and active listening techniques; the principles and practices of mental health counseling and crisis intervention; of behavioral management; experience with Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, CBT; the Florida Mental Health Act, and local resources. Considerable Knowledge of the characteristics and problems of adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses as well as signs and symptoms of substance abuse issues. Bilingual (English/Spanish/Haitian) a plus, but not required.
