Youth Case Manager

The Wraparound Case Manager’s main role is to assist youth and families with complex behavioral needs in identifying and working towards their desired goals and building a support system through linkage (referrals to community resources), advocacy, and coordination of services. This includes regular home visits, completing assessments and developing treatment plans, and facilitating team meetings. Plenty of training is provided. This position requires a bachelor’s degree in psychology, human services, or related field, and a minimum of one year’s experience working with children and families. A valid Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance are required. Must have knowledge of mental health disorders. The ability to document all services in an electronic health record is necessary.

Care Coordinator – Safety Management Action Response Team (SMART)

This position requires a bachelor’s in human services or related field; 1 year of relevant Social Services experience with children and families preferred. Specific agency training will be completed within the first six months of employment. Wraparound certified with experience working with families at risk preferred. Ideal candidate must possess excellent engagement, computer, time management skills and be able to work closely within a small team. Provide safety management services and care coordination for families with active involvement with DCF to ensure that appropriate interventions and services are provided to address caregiver protective capacities while ensuring the child’s safety, permanency, and well-being in relation to the identified needs of the family. Document activities and other services in FSFN. Possess a valid Florida Driver’s License. Provide proof of appropriate automobile insurance coverage in the amount of at least $10,000/20,000/10,000 for liability limits.

Case Manager

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in the Human Services field. The candidate must have a minimum of one year experience working with adults in the mental health field as well as knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment, and community resources. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary. A valid Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance are required.

Co-Occurring Psychosocial Counselor

Psychosocial Rehabilitation Counselors provide rehabilitation services which includes group therapy, social rehabilitation, basic living skills, individual supportive counseling, substance abuse recovery & maintenance, and therapeutic care services within the role recovery framework. Maintain records in compliance with all required standards. Work as part of a clinical team. Transport people served as necessary and maintain Henderson vehicle/property. Counselors must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a related field. One-year experience in mental health setting preferred. Knowledge of treatment of substance abuse disorders, mental health disorders, abuse regulations, patient rights, and crisis intervention.

Case Manager – Forensic Multidisciplinary Team (FMT)

This member of the multidisciplinary team has responsibility to carry out rehabilitation and support functions and assist in treatment; substance abuse services; education, support, and consultation to families; and crisis intervention under the clinical supervision of staff with professional degrees. Candidate will provide practical help and supports, advocacy, and coordination, side-by-side individualized support, problem solving, direct assistance, training and supervision to help obtain the necessities of daily living including medical and dental health care; legal and advocacy services; financial support such as entitlements or housing subsidies; supported housing; money management services; and transportation. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science degree. Work experience with adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses or with individuals with similar human-service’s needs. Familiarity with the various resources within the local community. Awareness of the concept of individual service planning. A valid Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance are required.

Lead Team Leader

This position requires High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors preferred. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, preferably in a residential or behavioral health setting. Knowledge of Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) regulations governing Residential Treatment Facilities. Familiarity with Evidence-Based Practices (EBP), including Housing First, Trauma-Informed Care, and Motivational Interviewing. Ability to demonstrate success using EBP models preferred. The Team Leader provides administrative and operational support to the Residential Coordinator and Senior Team Leader for Henderson Behavioral Health’s Residential Treatment Facilities (RTFs). The Team Leader ensures that the residence operates in compliance with Henderson Behavioral Health policies and the regulations of the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), and other funding or oversight entities. This position plays a key role in ensuring that residents are safe, supported, and actively engaged in treatment and life skills development in a recovery-oriented environment. This position requires flexibility to work evening and weekend hours as needed to support program operations.

Coordinator – Placement Partnership Program (PPP)

This position requires a master’s degree in a human service-related field and a minimum of one (1) years’ experience working with at risk children and families with child welfare involvement. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree that have significant experience with dependency, crisis support, complex needs will be considered and require Child Net approval. The Placement Partnership Program (PPP) Coordinator responds to the urgent need to support foster care youth’s preservation of their foster care placement and re-entry into the community from psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment centers, and detention centers. The program also helps to prevent youth, who come to the attention of Child Net, from entering the foster care system by intervening in potential lockout situations. The PPP coordinator is responsible for providing mobile, in-home therapeutic crisis intervention services to children and families, creating individualized plans of care for each client, and coordinating the support needed to sustain the identified placements. PPP coordinators work in cooperation with Dependency Case Manager and/or Child Protective Investigator, if applicable, to monitor the progress of children and families receiving services and to assess the need for further intervention. The candidate must also possess knowledge in crisis intervention, family dynamics, childhood/adolescent development, community providers and resource network, DSM5. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). Strong organization and time management skills. Bilingual, preferred, Spanish/Creole. A valid Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance are required.

Licensed Therapist Team Leader

The Licensed Therapist Team Lead provides therapy to children, adolescents, and families while supporting the growth of the Youth Therapy Department into a full supervisory role. This position begins with a modified caseload and combines direct clinical services—including assessment, treatment planning, individual/family/group therapy, and outcome tracking—with leadership responsibilities such as chart review, waitlist management, and staff support. The Team Lead works closely with the Program Supervisor/Director to ensure quality services, foster collaboration across a multidisciplinary team, and assist in program development, with the goal of transitioning into a full-time supervisory role. Candidates must hold a Florida license (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT) and have at least one year of experience working with children/adolescents with complex mental health needs.

Team Leader – Forensic Multidisciplinary Team (FMT – FT & PT)

This position requires a master’s degree in the Behavioral Health Science field with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. Licensed in the state of Florida (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT). Minimum two (2) years related work experience with adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses and/or co-occurring disorders. Two (2) years of supervisory experience strongly desired. This position supervises and coordinates multidisciplinary staff in the provision of behavioral health services which include admissions, discharge and service provision. Has frequent interaction with Court staff, residential representatives, Henderson staff, referral sources and other individuals that are part of the client’s treatment team. Meets regularly with staff and conduct daily meetings. This position reports to the Director of Community Support CRS. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.

Licensed Therapist

Minimum of master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling education, mental health counseling, or related field. Licensed in the state of FL. LCSW, LMHC, LMFT preferred. This position requires a minimum of one year experience working with chronically mentally ill youth population as well as solid knowledge of recovery processes. The candidate should also have the ability to conduct individual and conjoint therapy. A successful candidate should possess good communication and writing skills and be able to work within a multidisciplinary team approach. Successful candidates will need to be resourceful and adaptable as a therapist, have knowledge of evidence-based intervention strategies. A valid Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance are required.
