Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field required. Minimum of one-year experience in providing Supportive Employment activities or related role. Previous experience of working with individual with a disability is preferred. The Supported Employment Specialist is responsible for providing job coaching and support to individuals with disabilities who are seeking competitive employment. They work with individuals to assess their skills and interests, develop job search strategies and, and provide on-the-job support once they are employed. Position will work with individuals served by Henderson’s Residential Treatment Facilities. All work will be informed by the core principles of the SAMHSA Supported Employment Evidence-Based Practice Kit. A valid Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance are required.
