Forensic Case Manager

The position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Services field. A minimum of one year of full time or equivalent experience working with adults with a behavioral health diagnosis. Experience working with persons experiencing homelessness preferred as well as experience working with the forensic population. Provides on-site case management services to residents of Henderson’s RTF’s. Assists with completion of paperwork for needed mainstream resources, and linkage to organizations, as necessary. Familiarity with the various resources within the local community. Awareness of the concept of individualized service planning. Knowledge of the 65-E-15, Florida Administrative Code. Familiarity with Medicaid billing requirements for Community Mental Health and Targeted Case Management Services. Excellent interpersonal relationship, advocacy and negotiating skills. Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate and work with person served within the target population. A valid Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance are required.
