This position requires a bachelor’s in human services or related field; 1 year of relevant Social Services experience with children and families preferred. Specific agency training will be completed within the first six months of employment. Wraparound certified with experience working with families at risk preferred. Ideal candidate must possess excellent engagement, computer, time management skills and be able to work closely within a small team. Provide safety management services and care coordination for families with active involvement with DCF to ensure that appropriate interventions and services are provided to address caregiver protective capacities while ensuring the child’s safety, permanency, and well-being in relation to the identified needs of the family. Document activities and other services in FSFN. Possess a valid Florida Driver’s License. Provide proof of appropriate automobile insurance coverage in the amount of at least $10,000/20,000/10,000 for liability limits.
Family Education Clinician
This position serves as a family clinician teaching families about psychosis and its treatment. Reducing relapses by encouraging medication adherence and monitoring early warning signs of relapse. Supporting the participant’s work towards personal recovery goals. Reducing family stress through improved communication and problem-solving skills. The family clinician helps to reduce family burden and helps the family build on their strengths to create and maintain an environment to support the participant’s recovery. To meet these objectives, the family clinician must help the families cultivate the necessary knowledge base, attitudes, and skills to cope with. effectively with the situation and support the participant’s progress; this is the work of the family services component of the NAVIGATE program. Experience with computer technology (using a computer & PC software to support activities; Windows based programs, e-mail, especially Microsoft Office applications, keyboarding skills, printer, calculator, fax machine, MFP, copier) and other office tools efficiently in order to meet performance goals necessary to the position. Minimum Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Education, Psychology, Social Work or related field. Preference of two (2) years of post-graduate practice, heavily concentrated in mental health field, work experience working with both young adults and adults with mental illnesses or with similar human-services needs desired. Additionally, experience in mental health and/or substance abuse arena preferred.

Care Navigator – Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT)
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or other related social services degree. The Care Navigator functions as a member of the Mobile Crisis Response Teams and refers to the assistance offered to individuals in “navigating” through the complex health-care system to overcome barriers in accessing care and treatment. As a Care Navigator, you will assist not only individuals who are entering the system, but law enforcement, acute care facilities, and other stakeholders in identifying specific programs/organizations that will provide resources to the individual. They can assist the public over the phone, and in person, with requests for mental health services by providing information, referrals, screening, crisis triage, coordination of intake paperwork, screening, etc. This role will navigate the health and community care system thereby freeing up time for the clinical staff. This essential role will aid the team to manage the clinical priorities of the individuals efficiently and effectively. This is a direct service position that could require availability to work irregular hours, including evenings, and weekends.
Behavioral Health Technician
This position requires a minimum High School diploma or equivalent; bachelors preferred. The candidate should have experience working with the adult population (with mental illness and/or substance use) in a residential setting, as well as the forensic population. As a member of the multidisciplinary team, the behavioral health technician provides clinical support services including supportive counseling, crisis intervention and works as part of a team to ensure a safe, supportive environment to adults experiencing situational or psychiatric crisis; with wide range of emotional disorders, and/or substance use problems. Interacts with clients and assist them with activities of daily living, social recreation, & program activities. Supervises clients during meals & snacks, maintains client and unit safety, monitors client behavior, and assists with admission and discharge process.
Client Support Specialist
This position requires that the candidate possess a Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. The candidate must possess strong customer service skills, a high level of interpersonal relation skills (verbal and written), and strong computer literacy in all Microsoft Office Software. Candidate should be a team player and be able to display flexibility in adapting to changing conditions. Human Services field experience preferred: including any experience in medical mental health office practice, and/or experience working with persons experiencing disabilities, homelessness, or a serious mental health diagnosis. Screener – Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU)
This position requires that the candidate possess at minimum a bachelor’s degree in applicable human services and should be available to work Weekend and Overnight shifts. The candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of work experience in a mental health related field, a registered nurse; or master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling education, mental health counseling, or related field. Applicants must have the ability to: work effectively with clients displaying a wide range of unpleasant and/or bizarre behaviors; communicate and work effectively with staff from various backgrounds; work flexible hours as required by program and staffing needs, good assessment, and communication skills, both written and verbal, knowledge of community resources. Safety Management Specialist – Non Judicial In-Home Services (NJIHS)
This position requires a bachelor’s in human services or related field; 1+ year experience preferred. This position requires child welfare certification. This role delivers crisis response and field-based safety services to families at risk. Coordinates referrals for housing, healthcare, and basic needs, and maintains FSFN documentation and regular updates to referral sources. Must possess a valid FL driver’s license and insurance.
APRN (Health Clinic) – PT & FT
The APRN position requires a clear and active license in the State of Florida. APRN, in conjunction with the Psychiatrist and under their protocol, has clinical responsibility for the client’s treatment and staff’s delivery of clinical services. The APRN is responsible for and provides direct psychiatric and medical assessment and treatment through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and discharge planning for individuals; provide consultation, as needed to other mental health professionals. Services are provided in accordance with accepted standards of professional practice and policies and procedures. These staff members of the treatment team develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, staff, managed care companies, families of individuals, and other professionals or community members who have an impact on those who we serve. This is a 100% direct service position that requires on call duties as well.
