Therapist

The Youth therapist provides therapy to children/adolescents and their families in an office and/or community setting including treatment planning, behavior modification, individual/family/group therapy, and outcome tracking. A candidate is required to have a master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or other applicable human services degree. Candidate must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience working with children/adolescents and their families. Candidates should be knowledgeable in family systems therapy and application, behavior modification, substance abuse/co-occurring, cultural sensitivity, DSM V, and crisis intervention. Excellent communication skills both verbally and written are required, as well as the ability to work with all levels of personnel. This person will do bios, clinical impressions and therapy for Broward location. A valid Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance are required.

Licensed Mental Health Counselor – Student Counseling Services (SCS)

Henderson Behavioral Health is currently seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for our Student Counseling Services to join our non-profit organization. The ideal candidate for this position will provide brief behavioral counseling and outreach services to students who have a wide range of concerns, provide crisis intervention, and participate in emergency on-call. This is a 100% direct service position that includes working evening hours and requires availability to work irregular hours, including weekends, for provision of crisis services, educational workshops, training sessions or orientations. Direct services are provided in-office via face to face or utilizing a HIPAA compliant Telehealth platform to conduct as indicated and needed. This position requires a master’s degree and Licensed (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, PhD., Psy.D.). Minimum three years of direct related experience providing brief behavioral counseling and crisis intervention, serving the adult population preferred.

Clinical Coordinator

This position requires a master’s degree and licensed in the state of Florida as an LMHC, LCSW or LMFT. 16-hour State approved supervision course. At least five years working with adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses and/or cooccurring disorders in a rehabilitation setting. Some supervisory experience preferred. Experience and/or ability to work with electronic medical records is required.. The position provides overall team leadership, direction, and accountability for quality clinical and case management services. Monitors, timely and accurate documentation of services and ensures services are provided through a multidisciplinary team person-centered approach. Responsibilities include clinical supervision, administrative oversight, fiscal responsibility and staff training. A valid Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance are required.

Care Navigator – Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT)

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in human services humanities, social work, psychology, criminology, counseling, behavioral health or other related social services degree (no work experience required). The Care Navigator functions as a member of the Mobile Crisis Response Teams and refers to the assistance offered to individuals in “navigating” through the complex health-care system to overcome barriers in accessing care and treatment. As a Care Navigator, you will assist not only individuals who are entering the system, but law enforcement, acute care facilities, and other stakeholders in identifying specific programs/organizations that will provide resources to the individual. They can assist the public over the phone, and in person, with requests for mental health services by providing information, referrals, screening, crisis triage, coordination of intake paperwork, screening, etc. This role will navigate the health and community care system thereby freeing up time for the clinical staff. This essential role will aid the team to manage the clinical priorities of the individuals efficiently and effectively. This is a direct service position that could require availability to work irregular hours, including evenings, and weekends.

Team Coordinator – Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT)

This position requires a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling. License required. Seeking a dynamic, clinically experienced individual to supervise a large multidisciplinary team in Emergency Services serving individuals with mental health and/or co-occurring disorders in psychiatric crisis. Experienced conducting risk assessments, making rapid differential diagnosis, providing crisis intervention along with providing supervision. We strive for 80% or better call resolution and mobile de-escalation. For those instances where that is not practical, linkage to the least restrictive level of care. Must be clinically competent to work with clients of all ages, backgrounds, and diagnoses, as well as be able to provide support and direction regarding county and regional services. A recovery-based orientation is essential, along with strong leadership skills and the confidence to work with agencies. They oversee day to day operations of the program, monitoring compliance of documentation and performance of the staff and provides clinical supervision as related. They will be an active member of the team, expected to respond to mobile crisis calls and be a part of on-call rotation; as well as a liaison to the ongoing system collaboration at a state and local level to ensure the development and operation of a cohesive crisis system. They will be required to monitor performance measures and adhere to contractual requirements of the program and can work a variable schedule including evenings and weekends; work on-call; and respond to emergencies after hours as necessary. Supervisor is responsible for training and onboarding all staff of this team, both in the office and in the community. The Mobile Response Team (MRT) will function 365 days per year, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, including during natural disasters such as hurricanes.

Care Coordinator – Healthy Start Program

Minimum of bachelor’s degree in social services, health care, social work. A bachelor’s degree outside of the fields mentioned must have three years of experience in the health care field. Provide Healthy Start participants counseling to address emotional, situational, and developmental stressors, the goal is to reduce identified risk factor to achieve positive pregnancy outcomes and optimal infant/child health and development. Psychosocial counseling may be provided either one-on-one, with a partner, with family members, or in a support group, and at the site most appropriate for meeting the participant’s needs. This service includes the components of screening, psychosocial assessment, planning, intervention and closure. Possess a valid Florida Driver’s License. Provide Proof of automobile insurance coverage in the amount of at least $10,000/20,000/10,000 for liability limits. Bilingual (creole) preferred.

Case Manager

The Wraparound Case Manager’s main role is to assist youth and families with complex behavioral needs in identifying and working towards their desired goals and building a support system through linkage (referrals to community resources), advocacy, and coordination of services. This includes regular home visits, completing assessments and developing treatment plans, and facilitating team meetings. Plenty of training is provided. This position requires a bachelor’s degree in psychology, human services, or related field, and a minimum of one year’s experience working with children and families. A valid Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance are required. Must have knowledge of mental health disorders. The ability to document all services in an electronic health record is necessary.

Care Manager

This position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree. This position functions as a core member of a collaborative Early Treatment Program whose interventions and treatment are focused on helping individuals navigate the road to recovery from an
episode of psychosis, including supporting efforts to function well at home, on the job, at school, and in the social world. This position reports to the Early Treatment Program Supervisor. This staff develops and maintains professional relationships with participants and family members, staff, funding source personnel, and other professionals or community members who have an

case manager desired. A valid Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance are required.

Safety Management Specialist – Non Judicial In-Home Services (NJIHS)

This position requires a bachelor’s in human services or related field; 1+ year experience preferred. This position requires child welfare certification. This role delivers crisis response and field-based safety services to families at risk. Coordinates referrals for housing, healthcare, and basic needs, and maintains FSFN documentation and regular updates to referral sources. Must possess a valid FL driver’s license and insurance.

Case Manager Supervisor – Diversion Program

This position requires a bachelor’s in a Human Services. 1 year of relevant social services experience with children and families preferred. Wraparound certified preferred, knowledge of parent protective factors. Ideal candidate must have excellent engagement skills, team player, time management skills. Case Manager Supervisor will provide oversight and support to wraparound case managers and facilitators in helping youth and families with complex needs have a better life by ensuring access to the most appropriate resources through the development of a coordinated plan that is based on the strengths, needs, culture and preferences of the child and family served. Support with daily operations and contract compliance. Assist in onboarding of wraparound facilitators and specific training functions designed to help staff reach maximum performance levels. A valid Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance are required.
