This position requires a master’s degree in the Behavioral Health Science field with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. Licensed in the state of Florida (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT). Minimum two (2) years related work experience with adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses and/or co-occurring disorders. Supervisory experience strongly desired. This position supervises and coordinates multidisciplinary staff in the provision of behavioral health services which includes treatment, rehabilitation, and support services. This staff member provides direct oversight and management of administrative tasks, makes clinical decisions, and utilizes applicable principles of Social Work and/or Counseling including crisis intervention, family intervention patient/family education and treatment planning. The Team Leader has frequent interaction with internal and external constituents and participates in care coordination activities on behalf of the individuals served. They also provide services consistent with and as defined in Chapter 394, Florida’s Mental health ACT (aka The Baker ACT).
