APRN

The APRN, in conjunction with the Psychiatrist, has overall clinical responsibility for the client’s treatment and staff’s delivery of clinical services. The APRN is responsible for and provides direct psychiatric and medical assessment and treatment through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning and discharge planning for individuals; provide consultation, as needed to other mental health professionals by clinical supervision; education and training; and development, maintenance and supervision of medication and psychiatric and medical treatment policies and procedures. Services are provided in accordance with accepted standards of professional practice and policies and procedures of HBH while assuring that the program operates within the guidelines established by CARF, Department of Children and Families and in a manner that is consistent with HBH mission, vision and values. Additionally, assures that the facility is in compliance with all federal, state and local laws. This is a 100% direct service position.
