A crisis can occur any hour of any day to anyone. When it does, Henderson is here to help. Our goal is to provide immediate intervention to people experiencing a psychiatric crisis.
Crisis Walk-In Services
Early intervention in a time of need can prevent hospitalization and stabilize acute situations. Crisis Services include mobile community outreach, walk-in services, psychiatric evaluation, consultation and medication monitoring, and brief therapy.
Mobile Crisis Response Teams
Mobile Crisis Services are available at anytime for people experiencing an emotional crisis. Our response teams provide immediate on-site assessment, crisis intervention and counseling, linkage and referral, follow-up to promote crisis resolution and evaluation, and inpatient hospitalization as necessary.
Crisis Stabilization Unit
Henderson’s Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) provides short-term, intensive, inpatient treatment and stabilization.
First Episode Psychosis Program (FEPP)
The First Episode Psychosis Program seeks to alter the course and prognosis of schizophrenia by providing rapid, comprehensive, effective treatment at the early stages of psychosis. The program reduces the likelihood of long-term disability that young adults with schizophrenia often experience. It aims to help people lead productive, independent lives and keep them on their normal life paths.
