Multi-Systemic Therapist MST Therapist

Provide therapeutic services to children and their families. The therapist will work collaboratively with DCF, DJJ, Broward Schools, etc. in achieving objectives for children and their families. Conduct MST assessments and Engage primary caregivers and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement. Implement a problem conceptualization, treatment planning, intervention implementation, outcomes review and strategy revision procedure using the MST Analytic Process. Maintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts that promote peer and supervisory review and feedback, and that demonstrate compliance with the nine MST Principles and the MST Analytic Process. Provide direct clinical treatment using methods compatible with MST principles and practices. Participate in all MST training, supervision, consultation, and MST Therapist development activities. Maintain adherence and fidelity to the MST Model of service. All MST Therapists are required to maintain the minimum standard of adherence to the MST model as evidenced by a .61% score on the monthly TAM-R reports. Observe Regulatory Compliance Program. This position reports to the MST Program Supervisor. This position has frequent contact with outside agencies (DCF, DJJ, other service providers, etc.) Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related subject area required, or bachelor’s degree with minimum of three years of experience working with family and/or youth services. Minimum two-year experience providing mental health services to children/adolescents and their families.
