The position requires a minimum of a high school degree or equivalent. Some college preferred. Experience in recovery from mental illness or substance abuse. Previous experience of homelessness is preferred. Position provides peer support services to clients served by the HHOPE Team. All work will be informed by the core principles of the evidence-based program, Housing First, which is a recovery-oriented approach to ending homelessness that centers on quickly moving people experiencing homelessness into independent and permanent housing and then providing additional supports and services as needed.
