Supported Employment and Education Specialist

Functions as a core member of a collaborative 1st Episode Program whose interventions and treatment are focused on helping individuals navigate the road to recovery from an episode of psychosis, including supporting efforts to function well at home, on the job, at school, and in the social world. Responsible for procurement and maintenance of community-based employment for 1st Episode participants: including marketing of program to community employers, providing support to members on and off the job site, service coordination and communication between members of the Treatment Team, the Social Security Administration, and the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation. This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences, Human Services (psychology, social work, counseling education, mental health counseling) or related field.
