SMART Team Leader provides support and guidance to the SMART teams in coordinating the provision of safety management services to Palm Beach County families identified by DCF and/or ChildNet. This role ensure safety management services and placement stabilization services are provided to address caregiver protective capacities while ensuring the child’s safety, permanency, and well-being in relation to the identified needs of the family. Serve as behavioral health resource specialist and assist team and CPI with service referrals that will support children and families. Review documented activities and other services in FSFN. Master’s Degree in Human Services related field preferred. Bachelor’s Degree will be considered for candidates with child protective investigator experience or training in Florida Safety Decision Making Methodology. Candidate must have at least 3 years of relevant Social Services experience with children and families and child welfare including substance abuse required. Candidate must have knowledge of wraparound model, parent protective factors and Florida Safety Decision Making Methodology, child welfare system and available community resources.
