Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services related field, Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of two (2) years experience working with at-risk children, youth, and families. The Care Coordinator provides safety management services to families with children at risk of abandonment or abuse. The Care Coordinator ensures that appropriate interventions, resources, and services are provided to address caregiver protective capacities while ensuring the child’s safety, permanency, and well-being in relation to the identified needs of the family. Knowledge of community resources, family support services, child welfare system including navigating prevention services and dependency court systems. Experience with child welfare system and knowledge of Florida safety decision-making methodology. Trained in High-Fidelity Wraparound, certified facilitators preferred. Knowledge of family dynamics, Trauma-informed Care, and childhood development. A valid Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance are required.
