Prevention of Unnecessary Placement (PUP) Therapist

This position requires a Masters degree in a human service related field and a minimum of one (1) year experience working with at children, parents, and/or families. Or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of (4) years experience, in lieu of the Master’s degree. The candidate will also possess knowledge in crisis intervention, family dynamics, childhood/adolescent development, community providers and resource network, DSM IV. Demonstrate good writing and organizational skills, strong knowledge of community resources, good interpersonal skills and culturally sensitive. A valid Florida driver’s license and auto insurance coverage of $50,000/$100,000/$50,000 are required.
