Outpatient Therapist

This position requires that the candidate possess a Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling or other applicable human services degree, licensed in the State of Florida (LCSW), preferred. The primary duty of the Outpatient Clinician is to provide intake assessments, screening/referrals, individual, and family/couples therapy to individuals who would benefit from psychotherapy. A minimum of one year Post-graduate practice, heavily concentrated in the mental health field, work experience with adults mental illnesses or with individuals with similar human-services needs desired. Additionally, experience in the mental health and/or substance abuse arena preferred. The Outpatient Clinician provides the following services consistent with and as defined in Chapter 394, Florida’s Mental Health Act (aka The Baker Act): triage services, comprehensive assessments, referrals and treatment. Candidate should have basic working knowledge of using PC software to support activities, especially Microsoft Office applications; keyboarding skills; using office tools efficiently in order to meet performance goals necessary to the position.
