This a professional position serving as a clinical member of the participant’s care team. The outpatient therapist provides intensive clinical therapeutic services to adult individuals with identified mental health or substance abuse diagnosis. This service is designed to meet the specific behavioral health needs of the identified participant as they relate to their diagnosis and can be provided in-office or other approved/appropriate community setting. Outpatient participant therapy includes psychoeducational activities/interventions designed to assist the participant of the reduction of dysfunction. Services are provided with a Recovery Oriented System of Care approach and are delivered through intensive, time-limited, goal specific interventions. Candidate is required to possess a minimum of a master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling education, mental health counseling, or related field and be a registered intern in the Sate of Florida; licensed preferred. One (1) year of post-graduate practice, heavily concentrated in the mental health field, work experience with adults with mental illnesses or with individuals with similar human-services needs desired. Additionally, experience in the mental health and/or substance abuse arena is preferred.
