The administrative assistant/support staff member is responsible for coordinating non-clinical operations of the HILL Program under the direction of the Program Coordinator, providing receptionist activities including triaging calls, coordinating communication between the primary care team, mental health providers, clinicians, and clients. Appointment scheduling, general assistance, and data entry. Promote a courteous and pleasant atmosphere with staff, clients, and all contacts. High School Diploma or equivalent; with basic clerical and communication principles generally acquired through high school education. Preferably a minimum of 2 years working in an office setting with a primary focus on medical office procedures. Experience in data entry and insurance billing within the field of human service. Work experience with adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses or with individuals with similar human-services needs desired. Work requires familiarity with procedures and policies relating to all aspects of the medical records system normally acquired in 6 months as a Medical Records Clerk or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
