Provide to Healthy Start participants education and support to address emotional, situational, and developmental stressors, the goal is to reduce identified risk factor to achieve positive pregnancy outcomes and optimal infant/child health and development. This service includes the components of screening, psychosocial assessment, planning, intervention and closure. The positions requires the candidate have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in social sciences, health related field, or social work. In addition, candidate should have experience in providing substance abuse education, knowledge of maternal-infant health and concepts of child abuse and neglect and experience in providing services to culturally diverse communities/families and the ability to be culturally sensitive and appropriate. Candidate should possess a valid Florida driver’s license and be able to provide proof of automobile insurance liability coverage in the of at least $50,000/$100,000/$50,000.
