Family Preservation Youth Therapist

This position works with a team of professionals in providing therapy to children/adolescents and their families in an office and/or community setting including treatment planning, behavior modification, individual/family/group therapy, and outcome tracking. The candidate is required to have a masters degree in mental health counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy or other applicable human services degree. Candidate should have at least two (2) years working with children/adolescents and their families. Candidate should have knowledge of family system theory and application, behavior modification, substance abuse/co-occurring, cultural sensitivity, DSM IV, and crisis intervention. Candidate should have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), have the ability to form good relationships with children and adults of all ages, must have strong organizational and time management skills and have the ability to function and operate as a team player, showing dignity and respect for all.
