The FITT Therapist provides intensive in-home substance abuse treatment to help parents who are at risk of or have had their child(ren) removed due to their substance misuse. They work together as a team with a case manager and peer specialist to promote parent’s recovery & assist them in working toward their dependency case plan goals for reunification or to maintain their child(ren) in home. Master’s degree required in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy or related field with experience working with substance abuse and/or child welfare system.
