The specialized care coordinator role to the Family Intensive Treatment Team (FITT) is responsible for organizing, coordinating and monitoring all non-clinical operations of Family Intensive Treatment Services under the direction of the Program Manager. These tasks may include providing activities such as triaging calls, coordinating communication between the Family Intensive Treatment Team and program participants, operating and coordinating the management information systems, and assisting program participants, with their families timely access to services. The candidate must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a social services discipline and a minimum of one year experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs or a bachelors with a major in another field and a minimum of three years of experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs. Good written and verbal skills, effective time management and organization abilities, computer literate , ability to work in a team setting, knowledgeable of community resources, and sound judgement. A valid Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance are required.
