High School diploma and 5 years in recovery. At least three years’ experience with children and families. Must be a certified peer recovery specialist. Must have knowledge of the Child Welfare System. Responsible for assisting with the daily leadership and coordinating the provision of services and/or supports to Broward County families identified by BSO, CPI Unit, who present with substance abuse/mental health problems, putting their children at risk of harm. These families will receive the necessary services and resources in an individualized manner within a comprehensive, integrated system of care to facilitate their recovery, to improve family functioning and reduce possibility of future abuse or neglect.
