This peer mentor is part of the Family Engagement Program. The peer is responsible for providing support to Broward County families identified by BSO, CPI unit, who present with substance abuse/mental health problems, putting their children at risk of harm. Candidate must have a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent. Candidate must have experience in recovery or be a certified peer specialist. Advocacy and community support services and Knowledge of community resources. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), as well as strong organizational and time management skills.
