The position requires lived experience as a parent of a youth with behavioral health needs, or a young adult with behavioral health challenges as a youth is preferred and will be considered in lieu of a college degree. The candidate is required to have a minimum of 1 (one) experience working directly with children or adolescents with behavioral needs or certification as a Certified Recovery Peer Specialist certified by Florida Certification Board. Candidate should have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret regulatory documents, contracts, policies, and case records. The candidate should also have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from management, staff, clients and outside agencies. In addition, candidate should have the ability to effectively present information to children and families, management, employees, and outside agencies. A valid Florida driver’s license and auto insurance of $50,000/$100,000/$50,000 are required.
