The Care Coordinator provides safety management services to families with children at risk of abandonment or abuse. The Care Coordinator ensures that appropriate interventions, resources, and services are provided to address caregiver protective capacities while ensuring the child’s safety, permanency, and well-being in relation to the identified needs of the family. The Care Coordinator assists with monitoring the safety plan: the essential task is to oversee people and the plan to manage the safety of the children. This position assists the caregiver to act on tangible factors in the caregiver’s life to reduce the stress experience. This position requires a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a Human Services field with a minimum of two (2) years of experience working with at-risk children, youth and families. A valid Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance are required.
