Responsible for transportation those individuals who are safely discharged to appropriate post-acute levels of care from the Centralized Receiving Center as well as from other partner organizations, if applicable; and providing all functions relating to the crisis services vehicles maintenance. This staff ensures that they operate within the guidelines established by the State of Florida Department of Transportation, and that services are provided in accordance with accepted standards of professional practice and policies and procedures of HBH while assuring that the unit operates within the guidelines established by the Agency for Health Care Administration, CARF, and Department of Children and Families in a manner that is consistent with HBH mission, vision and values. This is a 90% direct service position that could require availability to work irregular hours, including evenings, and weekends. High School Diploma or equivalent with basic communication principles generally acquired through a high school education. Additional education and/or experience in the field of human service are helpful. Have a clear/active State of Florida Driver’s License and maintain it in good standing.
