This position requires the candidate possess a Minimum of a Masters degree in a human services related field, licensed preferred. Candidate should have experience in a clinical environment setting. Candidate will provide intake assessments, screening/referrals, and engage individuals who are experiencing acute or chronic psychiatric disorders. Works along with the nurses to stabilize individuals and make recommendations for placement. Serves as part of the multidisciplinary team. Continually assess clients’ progress and monitors until placement is established. Develops initial plan in consult with treatment team. Provides services consistent with and as defined in Chapter 394, Florida’s Mental health ACT (aka The Baker ACT). This position frequently interacts with other multiple multi-layered systems and protocols. They work collaboratively with other professionals throughout the organization and aid in data collection and reporting. This is a direct service position that requires availability to work irregular hours, including holidays, evenings and weekends. This particular shift includes evenings and weekends.
