This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences, Human Services or related field. Masters Degree in psychology, social work, counseling education, mental health counseling or related field; preferred. This position requires the ability to integrate the needs of individuals with chronic behavioral health concerns and medical concerns. Knowledge of resources for both is essential. In addition, Candidate should have a minimum of three (3) years experience heavily concentrated in the mental health field. Work experience with adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses or with individuals with similar human-services needs as an agency case manager desired. Additionally, experience in the mental health and or substance abuse arena is preferred. Previous experience in discharge planning, utilization review, case management, CTI, or similar role desirable. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance of 50,000/100,000/50,000 required.
