Adult Behavioral Health Coordinator

The position provides overall team leadership, direction, and accountability for quality clinical and case management services. Assures timely and accurate documentation of services and ensures services are provided through a multidisciplinary team approach. Responsibilities include clinical supervision, administrative oversight, fiscal responsibility and staff training. Minimum of a Master’s Degree and licensed in the state of Florida as an LMHC, LCSW or LMFT. 16-hour State approved supervision course. At least five years working with adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses and/or co-occurring disorders in a rehabilitation setting. Some supervisory experience preferred. Experience and/or ability to work with electronic medical records is required. AHCA approved Mental Health Targeted Case Management Training, certification must be obtained within 180 days after hire. Currently, must obtain certification from the Florida Certification Board as a Certified Behavioral Health Case Manager Supervisor (CBHCMS) within 15 months of hire. The credential is for people who supervise others who provide direct behavioral health case management services to adults or children with serious mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and/or those whose involvement in the child welfare system requires behavioral health case management services. The CBHCMS designates competency in the domains of Engagement and Assessment; Service Planning and Delivery; Coordination, Linkage and Monitoring; Documentation; Supervision; and Professional Responsibility. Bilingual (English/Spanish/Haitian) a plus, but not required. A valid Florida driver’s license and auto liability insurance are required.
