Henderson Behavioral Health (HBH) Selected to Participate in SAMHSA-HRSA Center for Integrated Health Solutions (CIHS) Innovation Community
"Developing High Functioning Primary Care Teams"
From December 2014 to August 2015 HBH will participate in the Center for Integrated Health Solutions (CIHS) Innovation Communities (IC) initiative.
Henderson's IC, entitled "Developing High Functioning Primary Care Teams" was selected by Henderson to complement its behavioral health and primary care integration initiative known as "The HILL (Helping Individuals Live Longer) Project."
Working together over the 9 months, the Innovation Community will bring together organizations to learn how to address a particular challenge to integration, implement measurable improvements, and form best practices to share with other organizations. Each innovation community is facilitated by two staff from CIHS and up to three additional subject matter experts related to the topic of focus.
Said Henderson CEO, Dr. Steven Ronik, "We are so honored and privileged to have been selected to participate in the SAMHSA Innovation Community. Integration of primary and behavioral healthcare is at the core of what we do at Henderson Behavioral Health."
