(Broward County, FL) On Saturday, March 5th in the Crystal Ballroom of the Hyatt Pier Sixty-Six, guests were treated to a complimentary cocktail reception at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner and dancing at 8:00 p.m. that lasted well into the evening. While platform shoes and double-knit polyester were optional, the professional dancers from Platinum Gold Entertainment certainly got the attendees dancing to the 70’s grooves.

As Henderson’s CEO, Dr. Steven Ronik noted,
“I think our guests really got a sense of the great work we do on behalf of our community. The nearly 300 attendees truly enjoyed themselves and we raised over $100,000 between ticket sales, sponsorships and the elegant silent auction. It was our best celebration ever and we wish to thank everyone who helped us reach this new milestone- and we hope to see you all next year!”

Local businessman and veteran civic activist, Mr. Alan Levy, was honored for his dedication to improving the south Florida community through his many associations and leadership roles.

Proceeds from the event will support the Center’s mission to help the more than 20,000 families Henderson serves each year in south Florida.
